This pack contains an A5 sized sound board for each of the set 1 sounds and corresponding pictures cards. Each sound board has 5 or 6 matching pictures.

This pack contains spelling sheets for all the Tricky words from phase 2 to 5. They are similar to the look, cover, write, check but with a twist. Pupils get to practice the writing in different ways such as joining the dots, rainbow writing and colourful writing before covering and having a go.
This pack has been redesigned and now includes a Set 3 Board Game and three versions of the word lotto (black, sound underlined and sound in colour)
Each sound has its own bingo board apart from oy and air which are combined. Use in pairs and pupils take turn to 'Fred Talk' the word for their partner to find and colour. Or sound out a word and children colour the word in or give each children a different board and call out words from a bag.
Could even be used to send home to practice.

A fun visual game that can be played in small groups, pairs or individually.
There are four boards in total. Each board has it own set of word cards. Players pick a word card from a box or similar or turn a card over. They then read the word and find the picture of that word. Once they find it they can put a counter or similar onto it. If playing with more than one players, then each player will need their own set of coloured counters.
Could also be used in connect 4 type games.
For displaying the Year 2 Common Exception Words. Some words have a picture to go with them to help aid comprehension of the word. Would work perfectly with the Phonic Forest i have for sale.

This pack includes sound mazes and word mazes starting from the sound qu in Phase 3. There are a set of mazes just for the sound and another set which have words, one for each sound.
Ideal for class or homework to practice recognising sounds and sounds within words

Either label cars with the words or sounds for a matching activity or sound out the word or say the sound and players park their car in the correct bay. Alternative use the word boards and players park their car in the bay that rhymes with the word you say.
There are four picture boards in total.

Board 2 - ir,ue,aw,wh,ph
Board 3 - ew,oe,au,ey,a-e
Board 4 - e-e,i-e,o-e,u-e
Each board has a ? section where there are a mixture of pictures from the sounds on the board. Board 4 has two ? where there are sounds missing in the word and the children have to work out which phase 5 sound is missing.
Please note some boards have words with the sound missing instead of pictures as some sounds do not lend themselves to pictures
How to play:
Roll the dice. When it lands on a sound, find that column on the game board. Spell the first picture from that column on your spelling grid. Continue rolling and spelling each picture.

Based on snakes and ladders there are 8 boards covering the Common Exception Words for Year 1. There are 4-6 different words on each board. Just follow the direction of the sub when you land on the square.
Looking for a fun way to practice reading and writing words for the Common Exception Words? Then this is for you.
Kym's Game is a memory game where pupils have to remember which word is missing. It can be used as a writing activity and a reading activity by getting the pupils to read a chosen word by saying it's colour. Pupils identify which picture they think is missing by writing the word. Challenge slides are included for each game to solve, which include cloze procedure, word jumbles and using the word that didn't disappear in a sentence.
This pack contains sound boards and word boards for each of the Word Times for set 1 sounds. A total of 31 games altogether.
These are a fun way of consolidating both sounds and words. Use them during continuous provision, during your phonics lessons or even interventions. Ideally use with a 1-3 dice.
This is an alien words game based on the classic snakes and ladders but with a twist. Land on the rocket’s fire, go up. Land on the comet’s tail, go down.

This pack contains matching word and picture cards that cover uses the set 1 sounds. They cover words that use three, four and five sounds.
Simply match the frog to the correct lily pad by reading the word.
They can be used as a matching activity, memory type games, snap or use the picture cards as a writing activity.
These games cover the consonant digraphs and vowel sounds in Phase 3. Apart from a few of pictures, mainly the ure sound (treasure, picture) it can also be used to write the word.
Use them as an alternative to quick writing the sound or flashing the sounds. Children can either say or write the sound when they land on it. If they don't get it right they move back to the picture they were on before. Ideally play in pairs with a 1- 3 dice.
